The Authority notes there has been some concern expressed regarding the wording in a statement in the residential consumer and sector surveys on rating reliability of supply on a daily basis. The statement reads: “There is a reliable supply of electricity each day, that is, a good balance is achieved between the cost of power cuts versus the cost of maintaining power lines, which is funded by the daily fixed charge on your electricity bill. (See statement 5, Figures 3 and 4, Market Commentary, October 2011). The words "...which is funded by the daily fixed charge on your electricity bill" are incorrect and the wording of the statement will be reviewed for future surveys.
