In New Zealand there are nearly 2 million electricity consumers ranging from households to large industrial users. Of this number, approximately 1.7 million are residential consumers, 160,000 are commercial, 75,000 are agriculture, forestry and fishing industry consumers, and 40,000 are industrial consumers.
