Electricity Industry Participation (Minor Amendments) Code Amendment 2012
The Authority has gazetted a technical and non-controversial amendment to the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010. The amendment comes into force on 21 September 2012. It makes various minor amendments to the Code, including:

replacing the term 'extended emergency situation' with 'EMP departure situation' to more accurately reflect the meaning of the term; |

more clearly describing the purpose of the system security forecast prepared by the system operator; |
|
|
|
| • |
|
clarifying timeframes and dates; |
|
|
|
| • |
|
amending the requirements for approval as a class A approved test house; and |
|
|
|
| • |
|
correcting various typographical errors and inaccurate cross-references. |
