Haywards Takapu Road - interim grid expenditure application - history
This application related to the thermal upgrading component of the Haywards–Takapu Road 110kV circuit’s reconductoring and terminal equipment replacement.
The Commission requested further information from Transpower and from Vector in early November. This was provided on 23 November 06 and 1 December 06.
On 6 December 2006, the Board of the Electricity Commission approved IGE of the lesser of $1,995,945 or the actual nominal cost of the project at the time of commissioning (i.e. the capitalised book value). Accordingly, under rule 17.1, Transpower could recover from designated transmission customers, the lesser of $1,995,945 or the capitalised book value of the project.
