Wind Forecast Monitoring Reports
An outcome from the Wind Integration Project was for the Electricity Authority to monitor the accuracy of the generation forecasts provided by each wind farm. Wind farms provide generation forecasts in the form of market offers and revise those offers as real time approaches. The offers are one of the inputs into the schedules prepared by the System Operator. The quarterly report provides information about the quality of the wind forecasts used to prepare the schedules and will be published towards the end of the month following the end of the relevant quarter.
