2011/12 Appropriations and Work Priorities
About this consultation
Section 129 of the Act requires the Authority and EECA to consult on proposed appropriations for the coming year.
This consultation paper includes appropriation information from the Authority, EECA and from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs (MCA), as all three organisations have programmes affecting the electricity levy. All proposed activities affecting the levy are contained in this consultation document.
This consultation paper includes only high level information regarding the Authority's appropriations, as it has only recently come into being. Priorities for its first two years are focused on amending the Code in regard to the new matters required by s42(2) of the Act and implementing them in the electricity market.
Submissions are due by 7 January 2011.
