2012/13 Draft Procurement Plan

About this Consultation

On 1 June 2012, the System Operator submitted a 2012/2013 draft procurement plan to the Authority in accordance with clause 8.43(1) of the Code. On 15 June 2012, the Authority published the 2012/2013 draft procurement plan in accordance with clause 8.44(1) of the Code.

The current procurement plan is incorporated by reference (clause 8.42) into the Code and the proposal is to replace the existing procurement plan with the version submitted by the system operator. As required under clause 8.44 of the Code, the Authority is now consulting on the draft procurement plan.

Submissions

The Authority invites submissions on the proposal by 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 31 July 2012.

The Authority's preference is to receive submissions in electronic format (Microsoft Word). The electronic version should be emailed with “Consultation Paper - 2012/13 System Operator Draft Procurement Plan” in the subject header to submissions@ea.govt.nz or if you wish to send a hard copy to:

The Authority will acknowledge receipt of all submissions electronically. Please contact the Authority by email or by phone if you do not receive electronic acknowledgement of your submission within two business days.

Where possible, submissions should be provided in the format shown in Appendix 1 of the consultation paper. When considering what information to include in your submission (such as potentially confidential information), please be aware that all submissions provided to the Authority will be published on its website and provided to the system operator as required by clause 8.44(3). You should also be aware that the Authority is subject to the Official Information Act 1982.
