Transmission pricing methodology implementation date
About this Consultation
The Commission is consulting on any contractual and cost issues that arise from different implementation dates for the transmission pricing methodology (TPM), the benchmark agreement (BA) and the interconnection rules (ICRs).
The purpose of the consultation paper is to request submissions on:
- the consultation process for the TPM, BA and ICRs;
- the different options for the implementation date for the TPM; and
- the implications of having a different implementation date for the TPM from that for the BA and the ICRs.
The Commission invites submissions on this paper, including responses to the specific questions at the end of each section, which are also summarised in the Appendix to the paper. Please provide reasoning and, where appropriate, analysis, to support your views.
The Commission should receive written submissions on this paper no later than 5.00pm on 10 August 2006. The Commission would also accept submissions on this consultation as an addition to their submissions on either the Benchmark Agreement consultation paper or the interconnection rules consultation paper (which close on 31 July 2006 and 2 August 2006 respectively) provided that parties clearly identify that they are doing so in their submission. Please note that submissions received after this deadline may not be considered.
