About This Consultation
The Wind Integration Project was established to look at ways in which wind generation can be better integrated into the electricity market. The project has considered optimal arrangements for wind forecasting over the scheduling timeframes, provision of pre-dispatch information to enable participants to manage wind variability and the integration of wind into market pricing, scheduling and dispatch arrangements.
The Commission's conclusions and proposals are outlined in the consultation paper.
