May 2010 conference
The Electricity Commission held an MDP conference in Wellington on 25-26 May 2010.
As mentioned at the conference, a simplified two-node model is available for participants to use for high-level analysis and demonstration of scarcity pricing and locational price risk management mechanisms. This model is likely to be updated at a later stage, so any feedback is welcomed. Please follow the Excel set up instructions provided to run the model.
