FTR manager: Request for proposals
On 31 August 2011 the Authority released a request for proposals (RFP) for the role of FTR manager on the Government Electronic Tenders Service website (GETS). Interested parties are encouraged to access GETS to view the RFP (GETS Reference Number 33933). Additional information is available on the Authority's implementation of an inter-island FTR webpage.
The FTR manager will be a new market operation service provider who will establish and operate an inter-island FTR market in New Zealand. The Authority seeks proposals from parties who have experience in the operation of financial markets and the ability to deliver an IT solution to create the FTR product and run auctions.
The deadline for submission of proposals to the Authority is 5.00pm, Monday 31 October 2011.
