Hon Heather Roy is the Independent Chair of Utilities Disputes Limited and the Advertising Standards Authority, and is a principal and director of her business consultancy, TorquePoint. Heather’s previous governance roles include the independent chair of Medicines New Zealand, various Ministerial roles, including Minister of Consumer Affairs, and a member of the Territorial Force Employer Support Council.
Heather has also worked in the health sector as both a practitioner and in policy development, and was a Captain in the NZ Army Reserve (Royal NZ Engineers). She is a member of the Institute of Directors and winner of the Women on Boards ‘Inspirational Excellence Award’ 2017

Vince’s background includes strategic and operational leadership roles in electricity generation, trading and retail. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a former Vice President of the Electricity Engineers’ Association of New Zealand.
Executive General Manager - Generation and Wholesale at Genesis Energy
Tracey Hickman is the Executive General Manager of Generation and Wholesale at Genesis Energy. Tracey has worked in the electricity sector for over 25 years, and has been responsible for managing Genesis Energy’s hydro and thermal generation assets for over seven years as well as Genesis’ wholesale and trading activities and fuel and carbon portfolios for the past three. Over this time, Tracey has overseen Genesis Energy’s generation fleet through a number of significant events in the industry, from volcanic eruption and earthquake responses, to fuel shortages to transmission constraints and major plant outages. Tracey holds a Master of Arts degree (first class honours) from University of Auckland specialising in Natural Resource Management and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Programme.

Greg Skelton has been the Chief Executive of Wellington Electricity since April 2009. Prior to that, Greg was the Chief Executive of Alpine Energy Limited and has held various senior management roles in the electricity industry. Greg has 30 years of experience in the fields of production engineering, electrical engineering and business management. Greg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and is a fellow of Engineering New Zealand.

Nathan Strong is the General Manager Business Assurance at Unison Networks Limited. He has responsibilities for Unison’s Risk Management, Legal, Regulatory, Network Pricing and Health and Safety Management activities. Prior to her current role, Gretta was the General Manager of New Zealand Aluminium Smelters for five years following a distinguished engineering and management career within the aluminium smelting industry. Gretta holds Bachelor’s degrees in Science and Engineering from Monash University.
