ACCES project update
The Authority recently conducted a second round of industry engagement with organisations that have a role in diversifying the electricity services offered to consumers. The engagement focused on the ability of a Connection agent/Channel trader model to deliver consumers multiple electricity services.
The additional consumer choice of electricity services (ACCES) project seeks to enable greater consumer uptake of electricity services.
To test the potential for ACCES and shape our efforts to facilitate it, we recently engaged with 14 organisations that have a role in diversifying the electricity services offered to consumers. Using structured interviews, we heard their views on a potential model to deliver ACCES and the value of piloting this model.
The Authority has now published a summary of this second phase of discussions, along with the materials provided to interview participants.
