Integrating hosting capacity into Part 6 of the Code

In September 2018 we published an issues paper “Integrating hosting capacity into Part 6 of the Code on low voltage networks”, submissions closed in November 2018.
On the 5th August 2019, we published a decisions paper stating our intention to amend Part 6 of the Code, and that we would consult on the proposed amendment.
We have now published the Code amendment consultation paper to integrate hosting capacity into the Part 1A application process, detailed in Part 1A of Schedule 6.1 of the Code.
This is part of our Open Networks development programme.
The consultation closes at 5pm on Tuesday, 3 December 2019.

How to submit
The Authority's preference is to receive submissions in electronic format (Microsoft Word). It is not necessary to send hard copies of submissions to the Authority, unless it is not possible to do so electronically. Submissions in electronic form should be emailed to email@example.com with Consultation Paper - Integrating hosting capacity into Part 6 of the Code in the subject line.

Please note that late submissions are unlikely to be considered.
The Authority will acknowledge receipt of all submissions electronically. Please contact the Submissions' Administrator on email@example.com if you do not receive electronic acknowledgement of your submission within two business days.
Your submission is likely to be made available to the general public on the Authority's website. Submitters should indicate any documents attached, in support of the submission, in a covering letter and clearly indicate any information that is provided to the Authority on a confidential basis. However, all information provided to the Authority is subject to the Official Information Act 1982.
