Proposed minor amendments to ICP status reasons and register content codes
4 – 21 Jul 2017
The Authority is consulting on minor changes to ICP status reasons and register content codes.
An ICP status reason is a two-character numeric code, required when an ICP status is inactive or decommissioned. The status reason indicates the reason why the ICP has been given the status.
Register content codes are unique codes, used in market and participants’ systems, which identify the configuration of a channel (meter register) on a metering component. Register content codes are recorded in the registry against each meter register by the MEP at an ICP. The register content codes (in conjunction with the period of availability) describe the physical and programmed set-up of the meter register(s).
This consultation seeks feedback on the following proposals:
- changes to ICP status reasons
- seasonally aligning the register content codes to reflect summer and winter
- adding three new register content codes.
