The system operator is surveying users and potential users of the electronic dispatch service

The dispatch service is the component of the electricity market system that sends dispatch instructions to generators and reserve providers, and receives acknowledgements from them.

The system operator is undertaking a dispatch service enhancement project. This will replace the existing outdated GENCO system with a platform that offers dispatch via ICCP (inter–control centre communications protocol) and web services.

Information on the dispatch service enhancement project can be found here.

As part of this project, the system operator is surveying current and potential dispatch system users to determine their intentions in relation to the new dispatch platform. The survey can be found here.

Please complete and submit the survey by 25 January 2019.
