Notice of
assumption of rights and obligations under Parts 8, 13, 14, and 14A of the
Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010
Heading: amended, on 24 March 2015, by clause 5(1) of the Electricity Industry Participation (Settlement and Prudential Security) Code Amendment 2013.
1. _____________________________________________________(participant
A) gives notice to the Electricity Authority under clause 1.5(2) of the
Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 that it will assume all rights and
obligations of _________________________ (participant B) under Parts 8,
13, 14, and 14A of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 in
participant B's capacity as a purchaser and as a participant that incurs
financial obligations under that Code or owes an amount to the clearing manager.
2. The notice given under clause 1 will, if
approved by the Electricity Authority under clause 1.5(4) of the
Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010, take effect from the first
trading period on __________________________ and will continue until it is
revoked by participant A or participant B under clause 1.5(5) of the
Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010.
