About FTR obligation prices
Financial transmission rights (FTRs) are designed to assist electricity market participants to manage their locational price risk and benefit consumers by enabling greater competition in the wholesale and retail electricity markets.
FTRs are auctioned every month. This map shows FTR obligation prices for a selected FTR auction result. You can select a source and sink node to display both the obligation price for that route, as well as the prices for each pair of nodes that make up the complete route.
