Call for nominations for the Switch and Data Formats Group

We are calling for nominations for our Switch and Data Formats Group. The Group will review and provide advice to the Authority on switching processes, as well as the exchanges of information between industry participants to ensure they remain efficient and fit for purpose as the industry evolves.

We will appoint between 9 and 13 members to the Group comprising of representatives from retailers, distributors, MEPs, and any other industry groups.

We are seeking applications from those with knowledge and experience relevant to:

  • the switching process
  • the reconciliation process
  • the EIEIPs as they currently stand
  • methods of communication between participants
  • methods of communication between participants and service providers
  • methods of communication between participants and consumers or third-party
  • providers.

Interested parties are invited to complete and return a nomination form by 5pm, 8 October 2024 to info@ea.govt.nz.

The Switch and Data Formats Group reconvenes and amalgamates two dormant technical groups, the Standing Data Formats Group and the Switch Technical Group, so that advice can be delivered more effectively through one group.
