Join our webinar on proposals to maximise benefits of local generation

  • Code

Registrations are open for our webinar at 11.15am–12pm on Thursday 30 October 2025. The webinar is about our proposed new rules to make export limits more efficient so distributed generation can supply more electricity to networks.

Export limits are caps on the rate that electricity from distributed generation – such as residential solar, wind and solar farms – can be supplied to networks at any one time.

Our proposals are designed to, in general, raise export limits to increase the consumer benefits of distributed generation, while maintaining the safety and reliability of networks.

The webinar is an opportunity to hear about the Authority’s thinking and proposed new rules, and to ask questions. This webinar may be useful for those intending to make a submission before the consultation closes at 5pm, 19 November 2025.
