Retailers required to update the Participant Register

The Electricity Industry Act 2010 requires every industry participant to register and maintain their details in the Participant Register.

The Electricity Authority needs accurate business and contact details to communicate with the right people.

It is a statutory requirement for all industry participants to keep their details up to date under Section 29 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010. Failure to do so is an offence under the Act.

Industry participants can check their information is correct by logging into the Participant Register.
