Survey for grid connected distributors

  • Distribution
  • Compliance

We want to collect more information from participants on how they are meeting their Code obligations regarding the distributed generation application process and their compliance with corporate separation and arm’s-length rules requirements.

Grid connected distributors and some larger embedded networks are kindly requested to complete this survey by Wednesday 13 March 2024. (Note you need to login otherwise an error message will show.)

Invitations have been sent to selected participants. Please contact compliance@ea.govt.nz if your business has not received an invitation and you believe it should have.

The information gathered from this survey will assist the Electricity Authority in identifying any non-compliance with the Code and help us to design our compliance education programme accordingly.

Any non-compliance identified may be subject to further enforcement action. You can read our compliance monitoring framework to understand how we monitor, investigate, and enforce compliance with the Act, its Regulations and the Code.

If you have any questions, please contact compliance@ea.govt.nz.
