Project background
In 2017, we proposed a range of changes to the Electricity Information Exchange Protocols overview document, and EIEPs 1-12. This operational review flowed from content issues that participants and the Standing Data Formats Group identified with the EIEPs. The review also provided the opportunity to align terminology with that recommended in the Electricity Networks Association’s November 2016 guidelines. Following on from this, we consulted on changes to both EIEP1 and EIEP5A.
