This amendment to the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (Code) comes into force on 1 October 2026.

The amendment amends Patis 1 and 8 of the Code to ensure that groups of generating units whose assets collectively cause the need for instantaneous reserve pay an appropriate share of the procurement costs of this reserve.
