Energy hardship digital support pilot
We're providing enhanced regulatory support to OLT’s consumer-focused digital support pilot as part of the Power Innovation Pathway.
OLT
Data-driven support for energy hardship
OLT’s pilot will test how consumers can safely use their own electricity data, with consent, across multiple ICPs and retailers to improve wellbeing, decision-making and enable early support for consumers who are more vulnerable or in energy hardship.
Unlocking better consumer care through electricity data access
OLT aims to use its software to help enhance consumer care by putting insights from consumer’s electricity data into their hands. With public consent and regulatory support, households, businesses and communities would gain access to the same-grade systems retailers currently use, creating a new layer of consumer choice, engagement and care.
This unlocks possibilities such as more efficient self-service electricity bill management, family care alerts, warm home monitoring and property care.
About OLT
OLT is an energy hardship focused software development company, providing a platform that enables power companies to support their most vulnerable customers.
They also analyse power consumption using “AI for Good” to provide new innovative family care services such as being able to check in on your grandad when his power usage is significantly different from what it was yesterday.
