Consultation on 2025/26 levy starts on Friday
- Corporate
- Strategy
Each year the Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko consults on its levy-funded appropriations for the upcoming financial year. The funding enables us to pay for third-party service providers, meet our statutory objectives and deliver our key objectives on behalf of electricity consumers.
We will open consultation on our 2025/26 levy-funded appropriations on Friday 15 November and invite feedback until 5pm, 13 December 2024.
The consultation paper will be published on this website and we will communicate its release through our Market Brief newsletter and social media channels.
We look forward to your feedback. It will inform the Authority’s advice to the Minister for Energy on the appropriate level of funding and levies for our work for 2025/26.
The Minister makes the final decision on our funding and it is announced on Budget Day 2025.
