We publish monthly hedge market summary reports to support transparency and build confidence in the market. The reports help electricity market participants understand recent trends in pricing and trading activity across the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and over-the-counter hedge markets.
During February, Q2 2026 ASX future prices remained steady, while prices for most other quarters decreased. Gentailer pipeline announcements and recent sustained low wholesale prices may have contributed to these decreases.
