Improving electricity billing consultation extended

  • Consumers
  • Retail

Following strong engagement around our Improving electricity billing in New Zealand proposals, we’re extending the deadline for feedback on this consultation by one week to 5pm, Wednesday 12 November. This will ensure a broad range of industry and consumers can have their say.

The proposed Code amendments would:

  • make bills clearer and more consistent
  • support the move to a better plan for consumers and low-risk trials
  • make comparison easier, and
  • provide protections from unexpected bills.

We would appreciate your feedback and encourage you to read the consultation paper and make a submission.
