Call for nominations for the Security and Reliability Council

The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko is calling for nominations for three new members of the Security and Reliability Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to be an independent advisor to the Authority on the performance of the electricity system and System Operator, and on security of supply issues.
We are looking for nominations from people in governance, executive or senior management roles responsible for, or experienced in:
- electricity generation, particularly thermal, solar, batteries and emerging technologies
- demand-side flexibility and consumer advocacy
- power system operations and performance.
To make a nomination, please complete and return the SRC nomination form by 9 September 2025 to OperationsConsult@ea.govt.nz.
We intend to appoint the successful nominees for a three-year term, starting 1 April 2026.
