Senior Policy Analyst/Analyst opportunity

We have three opportunities across our Market Policy function (in Wholesale Markets Policy and Retail and Networks Policy) for Senior Policy Analysts or Analysts looking to take the next step in their career.

Our policy teams at the Electricity Authority develop policy, create regulation, and engage with the electricity sector and stakeholder groups. We have a varied and stimulating work programme leading a range of policy and regulatory projects to strengthen the electricity market for a high renewables-based electricity system.

We are growing to ensure we can keep pace with the rate of change in the electricity market and better serve all consumers. You will be joining a well-established team and be a key part of the Market Policy function in the Electricity Authority.

As a talented policy professional, the focus of your role will be to help create innovative, consumer-focused policy solutions to ensure Aotearoa’s electricity sector works the best for consumers and our nation. You will work on a variety of interesting projects and engage directly with sector participants and senior leadership at the Electricity Authority.
