Submissions on future operation of power system consultation published
- Distribution
We have published the 24 submissions received to our consultation on The future operation of New Zealand's power system: DSO models.
This consultation put forward three models of distribution system operation for consideration to inform our decision making and map out the next steps.
The three distribution system operation models are different ways of providing improved visibility and coordination of distributed energy resources (eg, solar panels and battery storage systems) to ensure consumers can benefit from lower power bills and selling their power back to the network.
We thank all submitters for their feedback.
