Thank you for your feedback – Consumer Care Guidelines

  • Consumers
  • Retail

The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko would like to thank all those who provided input on our Consumer Care Guidelines consultation.

“We received an overwhelming number of responses from consumers, alongside submissions from retailers, consumer advocacy groups, retailers and other industry participants. This really illustrates the importance of the Consumer Care Guidelines,” says Authority Chief Executive, Sarah Gillies.

“The feedback we received will support us to determine the right next steps for the Guidelines and how we can continue to protect New Zealanders through our mahi.”

Around 1,000 substantive survey responses and just over 100 written submissions were provided. We are carefully considering all feedback and will publish submissions soon.

We look forward to sharing our decision and next steps in early 2024.
