  • Retail

Lines companies, retailers and direct-connect users have completed two training sessions in preparation for this year’s Industry Exercise.

Over 120 operations and communications leads attended the second training session this week to understand the simulated extended supply shortage scenario, test sites for information and communications, and the work they need to complete before the Industry Exercise.

A recording of Webinar 1: Rolling outages process and Webinar 2: Preparing for the Industry Exercise is available on the Transpower website. View industry webinars

The Electricity Authority and Transpower would like to thank all organisations involved for their time and commitment to the training and upcoming Industry Exercise.

Your involvement has been vital to make sure that, collectively, we can practice our processes in the simulated Industry Exercise on 9 April 2025.
