    We are currently seeking feedback on four discrete amendments to the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 in our Code amendment omnibus #4 and welcome submissions.

    Project background

    As New Zealand's electricity regulator, we're in the unique position to make, administer and enforce the Electricity Industry Participation Code. It's the rules that govern nearly every aspect of the electricity industry. We regularly review and amend the Code to make sure it’s fit for purpose and reflects new technologies and industry developments.

    The Code amendment omnibus groups several discrete amendments together for feedback to reduce separate consultations. This helps us move quicker to ensure regulation keeps up with the transformation underway across the electricity sector.
