Explanatory note
This amendment to the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 comes into force on 1 November 2014.
The amendment amends subpart 6 of Part 13 of the Code to effectively facilitate FTR reconfiguration auctions. An FTR reconfiguration auction is an FTR auction that allows a holder of an FTR to offer for sale a portion of the FTR expressed in terms of all or a specified amount of the electricity to which the FTR relates.
