The Electricity Authority has updated the stress test regime, guidance and stress tests to protect consumers and support security of supply ahead of winter 2025.
These changes took effect on 15 May 2025, as per our Code amendments ombibus #5 decision paper.
We would like to notify market participants that we have changed the formula in paragraph 2.75 of the stress testing guidance. Disclosing participants are requested to revise their calculation to apply this new formula.
