Hedge Disclosure Obligations: Upcoming user-experience workshop and user guide
- Policy
- Wholesale
In June 2024, we published our decision on the Hedge Disclosure Obligation Code amendments. These changes will enhance the disclosure requirements and publication of information on the contracts market. The amendments aim to increase transparency and help participants better manage risk. These amendments will come into force on 30 October 2024.
In collaboration with NZX, we are holding a workshop for participants on the morning of 12 September 2024 to discuss the operational changes that will be made to the hedge disclosure system. This user-experience workshop will allow participants to share input on the system functionality. Please register your interest for the workshop. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the workshop. Please contact info@ea.govt.nz to let us know in advance if there are particular questions you would like us to address.
We have also published a Hedge Disclosure System User Guide for Bulk Upload File Formats in conjunction with NZX to provide guidance to participants making changes to their operating system ahead of the 30 October 2024 effective date.
