Investigation into alleged breaches by South Pacific Energy

The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko has started an investigation into alleged breaches of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (Code) by South Pacific Energy Ltd.
The clearing manager has reported multiple breaches between 3 March 2025 and 4 April 2025 alleging that South Pacific Energy failed to meet its obligations relating to prudential security requirements by the due date and time under the Code.
If any participant considers it is affected by the alleged breaches and wishes to join the investigation, it should contact the appointed investigator by 5pm on 18 July 2025.
