Investigation into self-reported breach by the system operator

The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko has started an investigation into a self-reported breach of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (Code) by the system operator.

The system operator self-reported a breach of clause 30.1B of the Policy Statement (incorporated by reference into the Code under clause 8.10), when it failed to apply security constraints correctly.

If any participant considers it is affected by the alleged breach and wishes to join the investigation, it should contact the appointed investigator by 5pm on 25 January 2024.
