New monthly hedge market summary report

In the interests of transparency, and to help equip market participants, the Electricity Authority is keen to gather and share as much data about market and industry trends and behaviour as possible.

We will publish a monthly summary report that will make pricing, trading volume, and market trends across the ASX and over-the-counter hedge market more transparent for participants.

The reports will be published monthly (around the middle of the month) and each report will summarise market activity from the previous calendar month.

As a ‘one off’ the first report will include hedge market summaries for October and November 2025.
