PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE MOVED THE ONLINE WORKSHOP TO THURSDAY 11 SEPTEMBER

The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko will share ideas and suggestions we've received about digitalising the electricity system at a series of workshops in September.

The workshops will discuss the next steps for our digitalisation project and be an opportunity for you to provide feedback. The Authority will use this information to build a roadmap of actions to take to help drive digitalisation across all points of the electricity system.

Come and join the discussion at one of our in-person roundtables or online workshop:

Christchurch: Monday 8 September 1-3pm, Novotel, Christchurch Airport

Online: Thursday 11 September 1-3pm

Wellington: Friday 12 September 1-3pm, Precinct Flex, 30 Waring Taylor Street

Auckland: 15 September 1-3pm, venue tbc

Register for the online workshop here or register for an in-person workshop by emailing digitalisation@ea.govt.nz

These workshops are a follow-up to the excellent feedback and ideas received to our discussion paper Our future is digital. The aim of this paper was to test ideas on a more data-driven and technology-enabled electricity system which will ultimately benefit consumers.

This is one of a number of engagements the Authority is holding in September, including a workshop in Wellington on Thursday 18 September, to explore how current distributor disclosures support access seekers looking to connect and invest.
