Allan Dawson has served on the Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko Board since 2017, and latterly as Deputy Chair. During his time as a member, Allan was actively involved in implementing the transmission pricing technology and creating a new strategy for the Authority. This new strategy is now contributing to our goal of a low emissions economy and our enhancement of Aotearoa New Zealand's electricity market.
The Authority has benefitted greatly from Allan’s stewardship, commitment and diligence. He has enriched our work and been an asset to the Board and Aotearoa New Zealand’s energy industry. The entire Authority thanks him for his significant contribution in his time with us and we wish him the best in his future endeavours.
