- Code
On 16 April, the Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko held a webinar for electricity retailers, generators and distributors to discuss three case studies on alleged breaches of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010.
The case studies show where or how the Code was breached and highlights how you can ensure you’re following the rules. The three scenarios are where a participant:
- failed to provide information to the reconciliation manager
- failed to take all practicable steps to ensure information provided to the reconciliation manager was accurate
- had a ‘deemed offer’ on the wholesale market that exceeded their capability to generate.
