Review of the minimum weekly amount to be used in official conservation campaigns

The Authority is required to review the minimum weekly amount (MWA) every three years, and the MWA was last updated in 2023.
We have calculated the value of the savings the Authority expects all qualifying customers will achieve during an official conservation campaign (OCC savings) as $11.80 per week per ICP. We propose to round this figure to determine the MWA as $12 per week per ICP to make it easier both to administer and communicate. This rounded value is the same as the value determined in 2023.
We're seeking feedback on:
- our estimate of the value of the savings the Authority expects all qualifying customers will achieve during an OCC
- our proposed determination of the MWA that a retailer must pay to qualifying customers during an OCC.
We are interested in receiving any feedback on our estimate of savings achieved by qualifying customers during an OCC and our proposed MWA before making our final determination.
