Explanatory note
This amendment to the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 comes into force on 1 October 2026.
The amendment amends the Electricity Industry Participation Code (Improving Electricity Billing) Amendment 2026 to defer its commencement to provide additional time for retailers to make the necessary systems changes to efficiently and effectively implement these changes for the benefit of consumers.
