Update for market makers: publication of super-peak trading data

As part of the transition to the new standardised super-peak trading platform (Marex) and the introduction of super-peak market-making requirements on 31 July 2026, the Authority is reconsidering its approach to how it publishes data from the trading platform to ensure we protect commercially sensitive information.

We have paused publication of auction logs from the trading sessions while we consider our approach. We will provide an update as soon as we can. In the meantime, we will continue to publish the forward price curve and update it after each trading session.

The price and traded volume information for each contract is available on the Flexibility hedge products dashboard.

About the forward price curve

The forward price curve below shows the average price of bids and offers for each monthly and quarterly standardised super-peak hedge contract.

The average takes into account how long the offer was presented for and how much volume was offered. It provides a view of future wholesale electricity prices during the 'super-peak' periods of 7.00-10.30am and 5.00-9.00pm.
