Authority hosts successful MEP and ATH forum
- Code
- Compliance
The Electricity Authority recently hosted a successful metering equipment provider and test house forum, as part of its industry education programme.
The forum provided attendees from across the industry with an update on the Authority’s ‘Code omnibus and review programme’, compliance principles, improvements to the audit portal and the Authority’s compliance work programme.
Approved auditors joined the forum and shared their insights on the challenges and opportunities faced by participants and the Authority.
Auditors are appointed by the Authority to review industry participants’ processes and procedures and confirm their accuracy and compliance with the Electricity Industry Participation Code.
Feedback showed the attendees found the day invaluable for raising and discussing relevant issues and peer-to-peer networking.
We look forward to hosting this forum again in 2025.
