Consultation opens – Code review programme #7

  • Code

We’re seeking feedback on Code review programme #7 which contains 14 discrete proposals to the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010.

The primary aim of the proposals is to promote the efficient operation of the industry by improving existing Code provisions and processes, without introducing significant policy changes into the Code.

The consultation paper also includes 27 technical and non-controversial changes we intend to make. Although we are not consulting on these, we welcome any feedback.

Our Code review programme ensures the Code remains fit for purpose in an evolving regulatory environment.

We welcome submissions on our consultation paper by 5pm, Tuesday 9 June 2026.
