Investigation into alleged breach by South Pacific Energy Limited

The Electricity Authority has started an investigation into an alleged breach of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (Code) by South Pacific Energy Limited.

Energy Clearing House Limited alleged that South Pacific Energy Limited breached clause 14.31(1)(a) of the Code at 1.00 pm on 20 April 2023 when a payment to the clearing manager failed to meet the deadline.

If any participant considers it is affected by the alleged breach and wishes to join the investigation, it should contact the appointed investigator by 5pm on 11 October 2023.
