Reserves tenders for ancillary services
- Generation
The system operator invites tenders for the provision of the following ancillary services for a two-year term, from 1 December 2023 to 30 November 2025:
- Instantaneous Reserve
- Black Start (North Island)
- Multiple Provider Frequency Keeping
- Back-Up Single Provider Frequency Keeping.
Tenders are invited by 5.00pm on Friday 27 October 2023.
If you are currently an ancillary service provider, you will have received tender documents from the system operator.
If you are not currently an ancillary service provider, here are the standard contract terms on Transpower’s website.
